I qualified as a solicitor more than 30 years ago, specialising in criminal defence and private client work.

I have represented many clients in high profile criminal cases. Notable cases include successful defence of murder, manslaughter and assisted suicide, historic abuse cases, rape and indecent assaults.  I have also dealt with complicated and high value cases involving fraud.  I have significant experience in representing clients in wide sphere of road traffic offences from the most serious, such as causing death by dangerous driving, to the less serious such as driving without due care and attention.

My case load includes representing clients in relation to private prosecutions either brought by the local authority, Trading Standards or the Health and Safety Executive.

My private client work includes providing commercial conveyancing services.

I take a personal interest in the needs of clients and always strive to provide a first class service in order to enable clients to achieve their objectives.

I am President of the Keighley & Craven District Law Society.
